A lot of things were wrong with this...
How could you ever call this a real time strategy? I'm pretty sure RTS's are defined as controlling more than one unit.
Oh, and having the option to "spread out in no coordination" and "mass together and leave everything else undefended", does not count as controlling units.

It was so amazingly monotonous to have to rotate capturing bases, because the split goddamn second you capture a new base, the other one gets taken over. It doesn't matter if you own 4/5 bases, the enemy will capture them easily. That is by far the biggest complaint I have, it really made it tedious and boring.

For what reason would you make the quality untoggle-able? There could be nothing on my screen, and I'd still move at 2 fps, probably because all the clustergangbang of bullets happening elsewhere.
The little white speckles that heal you, and the little red speckles that kill you, are indistinguishable. One time I spawned at a base, and apparently it was under attack by a gang-rape of red units, and red bullets were unavoidable; and I died at 1 fps. Cool, right?

Thanks for the feedback :). I will think about it if I make a series. Probably not your type of game though.

Cheers very much dude, I'm addicted. 10/10
I can't get past lvl 12 (WTF WITH ALL THE BASES AROUND YOURS AND THOSE NEW THINGS THAT SHOOT LOADS?!) but this is awesome.
Do the things even have names? I've started calling them 'squiks' (for no reason other than I like the sound.)
And it kinda reminds me of Ender's Game.
Which is ace. The tactics, the flow of battle, the timing... brilliant.

I'll be quick and just leave a list of stuff I thought of. Don't take the abruptness personally, I love the game and a list is easier :)

-Mid-game, you could start putting points into a squad. They can be chosen from any available form of squik and either follow you or guard a set location.
-Some squiks spawn and fight in groups, so they can be ordered to individual bases on a map screen.
-You can store and trigger hyper-mode.
-Maybe another power-up that allows you to slow/stop time? Maybe you could choose between hyper-powers.
-A story :) I'll write it :)
